New Jerseyan indie rockers The Happy Fits closed out their "Lovesick" tour at Toad's Place in New Haven, Connecticut, on May 3, 2026. The 2026 leg, beginning in April and traveling throughout the United States, is an extension of their 2025 tour in support of their September release of the same name. Even after a jam packed six-plus months traveling and playing shows to celebrate their latest record, The Happy Fits did not waver in the energy they brought to New Haven. Calvin Langman (lead vocals, cello), Luke Davis (vocals, drums), Nico Rose (vocals, guitar), and Raina Mullen (vocals, guitar) were practically blurs on stage for an incredibly vibrant twelve-song set featuring a selection from the bands' four full-length records. True to their name, the band seemed hardly able to contain their joy, and the entire venue responded with just as much enthusiasm. As the band heads into the lull following the hustle and bustle of an album release cycle, we wish them some well-deserved rest, and look forward to what's yet to come!
