The Fray brought their "Summer of Light" Tour with special guests Dashboard Confessional and Colony House to Bridgeport, Connecticut's Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater on Sunday, August 23.
Colony House started the show off with an energetic set of their bright, upbeat indie rock sound, including songs like "Cannonballers," "Highwire," and "Moving Forward."
Dashboard Confessional followed up with a headline-worthy set that truly showed off the breadth of their fanbase, with voices of all ages and backgrounds singing along to every word of songs such as "Stolen," "Vindicated," and "Hands Down." The show was something of a homecoming for frontman Chris Carrabba, who hails from West Hartford, CT.
Finally, The Fray took the stage for an 18-song set packed with the music that has defined their career for over two decades. Though the summer tour is in celebration of their newest record, A Light That Waits, the band played plenty of older, beloved songs alongside a healthy selection of new tracks. Fans were treated to performances of the hits like "You Found Me," "Over My Head (Cable Car)," and "You Found Me," alongside new tunes such as "Ice Cold Lakes," "Tasted Glory," and "Wherever You Reach For Me."
